While Show’s part of the promo was great, Vickie’s was bizarre. While what the jack showed did indeed seem intriguing enough, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the film was little more than another teen Horror film whose main focus was geared towards getting teenage girls to scream in the theatre while clutching on to their boyfriends arms which was more than likely brought on by the all female cast, in a bit of pathetic short sightedness on my part. Her loss of reality becomes apparent during the final shot of the film, as we see Sarah staring face to face with her deceased daughter, a birthday cake sitting between them as the screams of the cave dwellers ring all about them. As I said, I don’t know if anybody else thought that, but the film ultimately made me think, and I do so love Horror films that accomplish that particular feat. She traced her fingers along his rippling lower back muscles, and slid her small hands down the back of his loose jeans. Policy, the failed policy begat General Petraeus, General Petraeus begat the Surge, the Surge begat another failed policy, but who f ing cares, George and I will be gone in months and Hillary or Obama get to fix our mess.
